In reply to Vijin V's post on December 7, Thank you, I did end up figuring out what the problem was. Turns out Kodak EasyShare Software is evil. Every time I would use it to splice videos it would change the file type. So just like ya said the video quality would end up bogging it down. Was a. More like dropping a bomb in all My Media folders. I had all my default programs messed up too witch didn't help.
No troubles though been restoring all my default programs and working on putting all my pictures and my music back in order. Quicktime Pro ended up having the quickest fix for file type problem. Even though I don't really need it now that I'm educated on file types and worked most of it out. Even though I will cringe at the sight of any kodak product. I just made it so much worse cause I really wanted to get the videos uploaded and just wouldn't walk away.
But live and learn I guess. I can defiantly say this problem was educational. It happens for any videos at this site, and very rarely there are other sites.
I think the video type is. This has only been an issue since WMP Also, I doubt its related, but just in case the only other video errors i've been having is with flash player, occasionally when I try and view something it says I need to download the latest version or my flash scripts are disabled.
But I have the latest version and my flash scripts are enabled. One site that gives this error is any video at www. Media Player2. It's worth telling media player about your broadband connection speed, in case it sometimes does get it wrong.
So up until a day ago Windows Media Player played back my video captures using Nvidia Shadowplay without any issue. These recordings had two audio tracks.
One was system or game sound and the other was mic. For some reason today media player started acting up by playing the video but no system sound. A small wave looking icon in the bottom left was displayed and hovering over it I get the following message "Network is too busy to play file at original quality". The file is local on SSD so it is not a network issue. I can go to Audio in the video and the MIC track is selected.
I can manually select the system sound at which time mic sound goes away but system sound works and the wave icon goes away. The only thing that changed was done so to get the voice feature in a game working. My system has front and rear mic inputs. I only use the rear panel. The software for the sound card gives you the option to link the front and rear mic inputs or separate them. It is linked by default. To get the voice feature working in the game, I had to set them as independent.
To my knowledge this is the only change. There were no system updates. I do know that all the recordings that I made after making that change will not play correctly in Media Player.
